Lately I've noticed an increase in discussion of many various topics in the OOC channel, including but not limited to that of people with Military occupations. There have been issues and complaints about this addressed to me and I am now taking it upon myself to forbid any "nay saying" of such. I do understand we all have our own opinions and theories, but we also have a good amount of members who are employed in the military who don't deserve to be attacked in the manner I've seen.
No more of this "You're a moron for joining the military" or "The military is a bunch of crap and you're only helping a broken system." Whatever it is, if it's negative, keep it to yourself or out of OOC. If any of our military members are spoken against again, I would like them to contact me and I will deal with the culprit. This goes with other issues as well, we are a guild and we're supposed to work together. OOC assaults are unacceptable, let them live their own lives. Live and let live.
In the end, this is a game and we're here to have fun. You may not like things others do and you may do things others don't like, but attacking or belittling other members for what they do in real life will NOT be tolerated. Thank you for your time, that is all. Get back to your fun!

I'm damn proud to be serving my country, and to all those who dislike us, let me just say this. While you hold your opinions and possible hate of the government and military, we are still out there fighting and dying to defend your right to have such opinions. Hooah.

Many of you guys have to understand that we have our personal reasons for joining and I promise you, they aren't evil.
I, personally, joined because it is the right thing to do. I joined to fight for the kids. I never joined for the money or the benefits. I joined because God put me on this world in order to do something good. I see children and kids suffering in third world countries and the thought of them waking up everyday thinking that someone is going to kill them or their family sickens me. Kids in those countries should be throwing baseballs, not grenades. They need a hero.
I want to experience the "brotherhood" of war and see the atrocities of warfare. I want to help people without no future, no education, no food, nothing. I believe that if I can give up 12-20 years of my life doing something good in this world; then that is something worth it. I'm not scared to fight. I am scared that I won't get the chance to.
"You don’t get very far in life without having to be brave an awful lot. Because we all have our frightening moments and difficult trials and we don’t have much of a choice but to get through ‘em, and it takes a lot of bravery to do that. The most important thing about bravery is this — It’s not about not being scared — it’s about being scared and doing it anyway — that’s bravery." - Ysabella Brave
"From time to time, the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." - Thomas Jefferson
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." - George Orwell
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away. And like the old soldier in that ballad, I now close my military career and just fade away, an old soldier who tried to do his duty as God gave him the sight to see that duty.” - Douglas MacArthur
"America's fighting men and women sacrifice much to ensure that our great nation stays free. We owe a debt of gratitude to the soldiers that have paid the ultimate price for this cause, as well as for those who are blessed enough to return from the battlefield unscathed." - Allen Boyd
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
If you guys aren't willing to stand behind us then stand in front of us. We do what we can and we are proud of our service. I find it hypocritical how most people in the Kor'kron make fun of us yet they RP as a Horde soldier fighting for the Horde's beliefs. The Kor'kron is, in fact, a military organization. That doesn't make sense...
I may not agree with what you say but I'll sure as hell give up my life for your right to say it.
- Specialist Huynh, Andy (United States Army)
"For God and Country."
"Rangers lead the way."

Agreed and well said. I do not always support what the military is doing in certain countries, but I have many friends that are in the military; one of which I am very close to. You don't have to support what the military is currently doing, but the fact still remains that those are soldiers who are putting their lives on the line for you and anyone else in their country.
There's a little car magnet I'm sure most if not all of us have seen that says "Support Our Troops." Do just that. You don't have to support whatever it is they're ordered to do, but support the men and women who are out there willingly risking their lives for whatever nation they hail from.
And you can do that by not insulting them or the career they have chosen. It's not going to kill you to keep it to yourself.

I'm inclined to agree. I am really sick of all the flaming. Then again, I am also rather sick of the return flaming. I know you guys have pride in your career choices, as you should... But to give in and return with fighting, isn't right either. If someone does that again, I just recommend putting them on ignore and letting the higher ups deal with it. Arguing in return only fuels the fire. Just remember... arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics, even if you win, you're still retarded. But in all seriousness... as a soldier, it doesn't look very professional to be going toe to toe with someone. Not to say it is right, or fair that they are attacking you and your dignity and what you stand for, but be the bigger person. Cause honestly, when you return fire with fire, it doesn't look too good on yourselves. And, you're better than that anyway.
